Ian Filippini Santa Barbara Tells Us About Children’s Book Day
Children’s Book Day – Saturday, April 29, 2017
The Santa Barbara Public Library is a wonderful place where adults and children alike can read, learn and participate in fun activities. Several times per month, there are various events and activities at the library and Ian Filippini Santa Barbara tries to go whenever he has the chance. This Saturday, April 29th will be Children’s Book Day at the Central Branch of the Santa Barbara Public Library. It will be held from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
Children’s Book Day is put on by the library once a year and is a fun time for all. There will be storytellers, crafts, face painters, singing performances and a free book will be given out to every child! Children’s Book Day is a day to celebrate reading and books and to encourage children of all ages to love and to enjoy reading.
Ian Filippini Santa Barbara has four nieces and one nephew, so he is no stranger to reading children’s books. He takes them on trips to the library whenever he has the chance.
